Inter Milan remain just two points above the relegation zone after being held to a 1-1 draw away at Atalanta.
The visitors went ahead in the 32nd minute when Wesley Sneijder's shot from outside the area was aided by a deflection off Luca Cigarini to beat Andrea Consigli.
But Atalanta leveled two minutes before the break as Maximiliano Moralez sent in a cross which was headed in by Germán Denis.
And the home side should have claimed all three points at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia but Denis missed a penalty late in the second half.
