Cristiano Ronaldo to front PES 2012

Konami Digital Entertainment has announced that Cristiano Ronaldo will be the face of Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 comes as anticipation for the football title hits new heights.
The Real Madrid superstar, who is the world's most expensive player, will appear on all packaging and marketing materials.
"He is quick, skilful, with an eye for a pass, and devastating in attack. His movement and energy brighten any game, and we are delighted that he has agreed to work with us in the pivitol title in the PES series."
Ronaldo, currently one of the world's top 10 highest-paid footballers, was last seen on the cover in PES 2008 alongside Michael Owen (UK) and Lucas Neill (Australia).
"I have long admired the PES series, but what KONAMI has achieved this year is remarkable," Ronaldo added.
"Football is all about teams working together and making assists and runs that create attacking opportunities. KONAMI has recreated this perfectly, and PES 2012 is a brilliant simulation of a real match.
"If you know football, you are going to want to spend some time with this amazing game."
PES 2012 is set to hit the shelves for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation3 on October 15, with the PlayStation2, PSP versions on October 28, and Wii on November 4.
