Soccer superstar David Beckham is marking his foray into the world of fashion with a new line of branded men's underwear for high street retailer H&M.
H&M, the world's number two clothes retailer, has formed several celebrity partnerships in recent years, beginning with Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld in 2004, and followed by Madonna and Stella McCartney.
"The final piece in the jigsaw was a retail partner who has the vision and capability to distribute these products globally.
"In H&M we have found the perfect partner to collaborate with going forward."
Beckham is launching the range with his long-term business partner and American Idol creator Simon Fuller.
The initial range will be launched in February 2012 to coincide with Valentine's Day.
