Soccer player injured after falling off cherry tree

Kaiserslautern striker Adam Nemec has been ruled out for three months after serious injuries when he fell out of a cherry tree at his home.
The 25-year-old Slovak fell from a cherry tree outside his home on Monday evening and suffered a broken collarbone, two broken ribs and concussion.
As a result of the injury, Nemec will miss the first rounds of Bundesliga action with the season starting on August 5.
He made 24 appearances for Kaiserslautern last season, scoring three goals.

"He underwent surgery for the broken collarbone. According to the doctors if his recovery is problem-free then he can return to team training in about three months," the club said in a statement.
As a result of the injury, Nemec will miss the first rounds of Bundesliga action with the season starting on August 5.
