Watch Tim Ream's outstanding goal-line clearance

This is one of those footages in which little known New York Red Bulls defender Tim Ream could go from nobody to somebody in the space of a few seconds.
Saturday in the Major League Soccer saw Red Bulls draw 1-all with LA Galaxy in a hugely entertaining match, but that one moment in the 43rd minute will live on in the franchise's collective memory for years to come.
As the ball rolled toward the goal, a charging Ream came in from behind Donovan and just got to the goal line to clear the ball out of harm's way.
Ream admitted he wasn't sure if the ball had crossed the line, but he wasn't about to argue with the game officials' call.
He said after the match: "I'm assuming I saved it off the line, since they didn't call it a goal.
"By the time I slid, I wasn't sure where it was. I was just trying to get everything I could on it to possibly keep it out. They didn't call it a goal, so I guess it didn't go in."
