With the curtain on the Premier League season closing, some members of the Chelsea squad have taken some time out to take part in a giant interactive game of 3D Alien Invaders.
188BET, the official betting partner of the London club, challenged Nicolas Anelka, Branislav Ivanović, Paulo Ferreira and David Luiz to fight off an invasion of giant aliens from space, with only their footballing skills as weapons.
Points were awarded through hitting the aliens, 50 for an individual and a bonus 188 if one of the players destroyed the Alien Invaders "mothership".
French striker Anelka came out on top with an impressive 2088 points, winning the 188BET Alien Invaders trophy, along with a 188BET donation of £1500 to a charity of his choice.
"It was a funny game, a good game to play and I hope one day I can have a garden big enough for this kind of game," Anelka joked after the game.
"The four of us enjoyed it and we were trying to help each other out getting the footballs back but I am happy that I won.
"The trophy will now sit next to the Premier League medal and all my other trophies!"

Taking place on a 90-foot wall in an abandoned warehouse somewhere in Battersea, South West London, the game was projected onto the side of the building and the players were challenged to take on the invaders by destroying them with footballs.
