Armed police raid on Cristiano Ronaldo's apartment
Table of Contents
A flat owned by Cristiano Ronaldo has been raided by armed police after the Real Madrid star unwittingly rented it out to an alleged violent criminal.
Ronaldo bought the two-storey flat in Alcochete, near the Portuguese capital Lisbon while he was at Manchester United and has since been leasing out through his management cronies.
Ronaldo definitely didn't know anything about this though and only found out about it through his agent after the raid.
According to the local newspaper report, neighbours "didn't suspect a thing" and Alves, perhaps unsurprisingly, was never late on the rent.
Last November, Ronaldo was stunned after a neighbour in Madrid was arrested on suspicion of being one of the world's biggest drug barons.

Unfortunately his tenant, Ricardo Alves, is wanted by the authorities in connection with a spate of ATM robberies and car-jackings in and around the Portuguese capital.
