Brazilian legend Roberto Carlos showed he still has a bit of dead-ball sorcery left in him after scoring direct from a corner in Corinthians's 2-0 win over Portuguesa on Sunday.
The 37-year-old spotted Portuguesa goalkeeper Weverton standing out of position while organising his defence and the quick-thinking ex-Real Madrid full-back promptly curled the ball in off the far post from the corner flag.
South Americans call this kind of goal as the Olympic goal after Cesáreo Onzari scored direct from a corner kick against Olympic champions Uruguay in 1924.
