Barcelona preserved their 100 percent away record in La Liga following a 3-0 away victory against 10-man Hércules.
Pedro gave Barca the lead two minutes before the interval when he blasted in a pass from Xavi beyond Hércules keeper Juan Calatayud.
But Hércules' hopes of comeback were dealt a fatal blow when Francisco Farinós was sent off for a second yellow card with five minutes left.
And Lionel Messi soon took advantage by bagging two goals in the last three minutes to give the Catalans a comfortable victory in the end.
