Gareth Bale notched a brace as Tottenham Hotspur recorded their first victory in five domestic games with a 4-2 home win over Blackburn Rovers.
The Welshman continued his fine goalscoring form with a near-post header from a Rafael van der Vaart corner in the 16th minute.
Bale then produced an inch-perfect delivery for Roman Pavlyuchenko to head in four minutes before the break after missing a penalty kick.
Peter Crouch added a third in the 68th minute with his first league goal since May before Bale scored his second with a scuffed finish from around eight yards on 75 minutes.
Spurs suffered two late scares when Ryan Nelsen turned in a David Dunn strike and Gaël Givet netted in the dying minutes, but it was nothing more than a consolation for the visitors.
