A highly debatable second goal from Nani helped Manchester United beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 at Old Trafford.
The hosts made the breakthrough just past the half-hour mark when Nani floated in a free-kick and Nemanja Vidić rose above everyone to head home.
The second goal came five minutes from the end when Nani rolled a shot into the net after Spurs keeper Gomes had thrown the ball onto the ground believing a free-kick had been awarded after the United winger had handled in the box.
However, referee Mark Clattenburg was waving play on and allowed the goal to stand after consulting his assistant, much to Spurs' fury.
