Vlado Borozan, the mediator in the discussions between Juventus and Birmingham City, has revealed that Mauro Camoranesi is close to completing a move to England.
The 33-year-old Italy international has been strongly linked with a move away from Turin following the arrival of Simone Pepe from Udinese.
As Camoranesi only has a year left to run on his current contract, he’ll terminate by mutual consent with the Bianconeri and join Birmingham on a free transfer.
"An agreement for Camoranesi to join Birmingham City has been reached," Borozan told tuttomercatoweb.
"On Monday, we'll go to England to work out the final details and that we are already on the right path.
"Camoranesi has said yes and would be enthusiastic at this new adventure."
