David Beckham's TVR Cerbera for sale on eBay
Table of Contents
An exclusive sports car once owned by soccer superstar David Beckham has gone on sale on eBay, where it will remain for another eight days.
The car is a TVR Cerbera that was built to Becks’ personal specifications in 2000 and is finished in an unusual colour known as Crystal Topaz - a very rare pearlescent blue that was chosen especially by his wife, Victoria.
There are also two manufacturer’s name plates, one inside the driver’s door and the other in the engine bay, that celebrate Becks taking delivery of the vehicle on March 1, 2000 when he was still at Manchester United.
The Cerbera has been garaged as part of a private collection for the past six years and has therefore covered less than 100 miles in that time.
But when it does take to the road its performance figures are ballistic.
It is fitted with a 4.5-litre V8 powerplant that produces 420bhp, making it capable of reaching a top speed of 195mph and accelerating from 0 to 60mph in just 3.8 seconds.
A BMW M3 from Becks' early days at United that was only valued at £12,000 subsequently sold for £90,100 when it was sold on eBay in 2005.
