AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani claims he will Barcelona president Sandro Rosell on Wednesday to negotiate the transfer of Zlatan Ibrahimović.
Milan are in Barcelona on Wednesday for the annual Joan Gamper Trophy, which is said to be the occasion when a meeting will take place.
The Rossoneri have stated previously the former Inter Milan striker was out of their price range but Galliani now believes there is a chance of luring Ibrahimović back to the San Siro.
The Spanish media claim Milan want Ibrahimović on a loan deal and that they are prepared to pay 60 percent of his wages.
"The negotiations are officially open for Ibra," Galliani told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"On Wednesday I will meet Barcelona's president Sandro Rosell. It will be difficult and we have not yet spoken of the economic aspect."
