Inter Milan have officially announced the appointment of Rafa Benítez as their new coach - just a week after his departure from Liverpool.
Benítez parted company with Liverpool last week after guiding the Merseyside club to a disappointing seventh-place finish in the Premier League last season.
Inter president Massimo Moratti made Benítez his top target to replace José Mourinho, who left for Real Madrid after winning the treble last month.
A club statement read: "This morning, with both parties in agreement, a two-year deal until June 30, 2012 has been agreed between the Spanish manager and the club.
"Rafael Benítez will be unveiled to the media in a press conference at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti in Appiano Gentile on Tuesday 15 June at 12:00."
