Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has revealed that he would welcome Liverpool hitman Fernando Torres to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea chief executive Ron Gourlay confirmed earlier this week that boss Carlo Ancelotti will get the cash to bolster the squad this summer.
And the FA Cup finalists are ready to launch a £50 million bid for the Spanish striker, who frustrated with a disappointing season at Liverpool.
Golden boot winner Drogba said: "I have heard the talk about Torres maybe coming in and I would welcome it, of course.
"Every time there is a new player coming here it's making the club bigger and giving us a lot of strength.
"If there is a chance for him to come he will be welcome because any help is welcome!"
