Cristiano Ronaldo signed up for A:3K skills challenge

Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is the latest star to compete in A:3K Football, a £10 million gladiator-style test of skill at the 02 Arena on July 17.
The Portuguese winger will join Steven Gerrard, Didier Drogba, Cesc Fàbregas and David Villa to be staged in front of 15,000 fans just after the World Cup.
The players will face challenges including A:3K Attack - where six of them will be placed in a Perspex cage with six goals and two footballs, trying to score as many times as possible
He said: "We can officially confirm that Cristiano Ronaldo will be a competitor in this year's A:3K event.
"We have already confirmed that Drogba, Fàbregas, Gerrard and Villa will also be competing on that one night at the O2.
"One more football superstar will complete the line-up - we expect to be able to confirm that name this week."
Each player is understood to receive at least £500k for one night's work in the event.

The footballers were persuaded to take part by Terry Byrne, David Beckham's former right-hand man.
He said: "We can officially confirm that Cristiano Ronaldo will be a competitor in this year's A:3K event.

"One more football superstar will complete the line-up - we expect to be able to confirm that name this week."
