10-man Inter Milan secured their place in the Champions League final despite a 1-0 semi-final second-leg defeat at Barcelona.
Inter began the match in firm control following a 3-1 home-leg win, although their task was made harder following Thiago Motta's controversial dismissal in the 28th minute.
Motta was shown a straight red card for putting his hand in Sergio Busquets' face, with the Barça man making the most of the little contact between the two.
Gerard Piqué gave the reigning continental kings hope with seven minutes left when he rounded Júlio César and slotted home, but Inter held on in front of a crowd of nearly 100,000 at the Camp Nou to set up a final against Bayern Munich in Madrid.
