Fiorentina revived their hopes of qualifying for Europe next season thanks to a comfortable 3-0 win over Genoa at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
The Viola went ahead after just five minutes when Mario Santana backheeled in Massimo Gobbi's cross.
Alberto Gilardino made it 2-0 with a disputable penalty midway through the second half and 17-year-old forward Khouma El Babacar rounded off the win four minutes from time with his first ever Serie A goal.
