Arsène Wenger to Real Madrid: Leave me alone!

Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger has told Real Madrid to forget about making another attempt to lure him to the Bernabéu in the summer.

Current boss Manuel Pellegrini is under fire after Real failed to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League for a sixth successive year despite spending £240 million on new signings last summer, including Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaká.

Real president Florentino Pérez tried to entice Wenger from Arsenal before appointing Pellegrini last June and they are expected to renew interest in the Frenchman if they begin a new search for a fresh manager.

But Wenger insists that any renewed attempt would meet with the same result.

He said: "Leave me alone. I am always going to stay to the end of my contract and I am going (to stay at Arsenal) until 2011. There is no way I am going to break it."
