Stoke City extended their unbeaten run since the turn of the year to five league games with a 1-1 draw Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium.
The Latics dominated the first period and Paul Scharner headed home the opener on 14 minutes from a Charles N'Zogbia free-kick.
Stoke battled hard in pursuit of a leveller and were rewarded in the 74th minute when Tuncay Şanlı escaped his marker to nod in Matthew Etherington's cross.
