Sunderland's winless run was extended to 11 games as they were forced to come from behind in a 1-1 draw with Wigan Athletic at the Stadium of Light.
Mohamed Diame had put Wigan ahead with a stunning effort in 20th minute, but Kenwyne Jones headed home the equaliser on 64 minutes to hand the Black Cats a share of the spoils at home.
