Table of Contents
Sampdoria recorded their third successive victory with a fine 2-1 away win over bottom club Siena.
Daniele Gastataldello needed just three minutes to put his side ahead before Nicola Pozzi doubled the lead with 13 minutes remaining after a mix-up between goalkeeper Gianluca Curci and defender Francesco Pratali.
With eight minutes remaining Siena got back into the game with a goal from Massimo Maccarone, but Alberto Malesani's men never looked like taking a point.
