Hull City climbed out of the Premier League relegation zone with a 2-1 win over top-four hopefuls Manchester City at the KC Stadium.
The Tigers deservedly took the lead when Jozy Altidore scored his first Premier League goal just past the half-hour.
Matters got worse for City when George Boateng made it 2-0 with an astonishing long-range volley.
City pulled a goal back in the 59th minute when Hull failed to clear an Adam Johnson corner and Emmanuel Adebayor was able to prod home from close range after something of a scramble.
