Lionel Messi scored and set up another goal in Barcelona's 2-1 victory over Getafe at the Camp Nou.
The Argentine scored his 16th league goal of the season in the sixth minute, curling in a shot with his left foot after Yaya Touré set him up from a corner.
Barcelona were reduced to 10 men after 24 minutes when Gerard Piqué was ejected for a late tackle on Rafa Lopez.
The home side never really looked in danger, despite Pique's departure, and their dominance finally paid off as Xavi all but sealed a 17th league win of the season in the 67th minute.
Rafael Márquez was sent off late on for bringing down Kepa Blanco in the area and Roberto Soldado converted the spot-kick, but it came too late for Getafe.
