Chelsea notched their biggest ever Premier League win with a 7-2 rout over injury-hit Sunderland at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues were ruthless throughout and had scored four times without reply by half-time with goals from Nicolas Anelka, Florent Malouda, Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard.
Joe Cole's classy pass teed up Michael Ballack to make it 5-0 on 57 minutes, before substitute Boudewijn Zenden responded for the Black Cats.
Anelka then restored the Blues' five-goal cushion and Lampard nodded in a late seventh with Darren Bent's final say for the mauled Black Cats scant consolation.
