Fiorentina striker Adrian Mutu has again failed a doping test, the Italian Olympic Committee has announced.
Mutu tested positive for Sibutramine - a drug commonly used to combat obesity - after Fiorentina's 2-1 victory over Bari in which the Romania international scored.
An Italian Olympic Committee statement said: "CONI announces that a positive test has been confirmed on Adrian Mutu with the presence of metabolics of sibutramine found in tests done by the FIGC on January 10 after the Serie A game between Fiorentina and Bari."
It's not the first time the 31-year-old has failed a drugs test.
In 2004, Mutu was sacked by Chelsea after testing positive for cocaine and was given a seven-month worldwide football ban.
