Everton remain winless in their past seven Premier League matches following a a 1-1 draw against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
The Black Cats took the lead in the 17th minute as Kenwyne Jones clipped in a pinpoint cross for strike partner Darren Bent to plant his header firmly beyond Tim Howard.
But Everton salvaged a point with five minutes remaining when Marouane Fellaini smashed home from close range after Tony Hibbert's cross was flicked on by a Sunderland player.
