Ronaldinho named World Player of the Decade

Brazilian star Ronaldinho has been named the World Player of the Decade by prestigious British magazine World Soccer.
The AC Milan star finished in front of Argentina forward and 2009 Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi and Portugal winger Cristiano Ronaldo in the collated 10 annual votes between 2000 and 2009.
Meanwhile, European champions Barcelona won the Team of the Year award.
After just one season in charge of Barcelona, Pep Guardiola was voted Manager of the Year while former VfL Wolfsburg boss Felix Magath came in second place and Manchester United’s Sir Alex Ferguson came in third.
