Premier League: Portsmouth 1-4 Arsenal
Table of Contents
Cash-strapped Portsmouth remain rooted to the foot of the Premier League table after a 4-1 home defeat to Arsenal.
The Gunners were always in command after Eduardo's free-kick had deflected off Younes Kaboul, before Samir Nasri scored a second just before the break and Aaron Ramsey lashed home a third in the 69th minute.
Pompey pulled one back soon after as Anthony Vanden Borre and Nadir Belhadj combined for the Algerian to fire home, but Alex Song's header from Nasri's right-wing cross killed off the match on 81 minutes with Arsenal's 51st goal of the season.
