English soccer star David Beckham is the third most online searched person in the last decade, according to search engine Ask Jeeves.
The findings are based on online activity by British users of the search engine Ask Jeeves.
The singer has had an up-and-down decade emcompassing smash hit records, the birth of two children, divorces and a high-profile breakdown.
The decade's most wanted man Osama bin Laden took second place on the list after a flurry of hits following 9/11.
Late British royal Princess Diana is fourth, followed by Tony Blair, Madonna, Simon Cowell, Jade Goody, Madeleine McCann and Brad Pitt.
Spokeswoman Nadia Kelly told Sky News: "Some names are popular searches for a year or two and then no more, but a select few have been topping our search lists for up to a whole decade."
