Russia cemented their second place standing in Group 4 with a 3-0 crushing over minnows Liechtenstein.
Russian defender Vasili Berezutski opened the scoring in Moscow after 17 minutes when he stroked the ball low past Liechtenstein goalkeeper Peter Jehle from the edge of the penalty area.
The hosts wrapped up all three points by the interval with striker Roman Pavlyuchenko converting two penalties in the 40th and 45th minute.
