Goalkeeper Kim Christensen could face a suspension or fine after being caught moving the goalposts to make the goal slightly smaller during a Swedish first division match.
The IFK Göteborg custodian was caught by TV cameras using his feet to push the bottom of each post slightly inwards before a match against Örebro on Wednesday.
Christensen kept a 'clean' sheet but referee Stefan Johannesson the moved posts after 20 minutes and pushed them back into the right place.
However, he was unsure who had moved them and did not take any action against the goalkeeper.
"Had I seen it I would have warned him. I think so anyway, it is not easy to find that rule," Johansson told daily Aftonbladet.
Astonishingly, Christensen admitted he had done the same thing before several previous games.
He said: "I got the tip from a goalkeeping friend a few years ago, and since then I have done it from time to time."
