Cristiano Ronaldo is already making history at Real Madrid after becoming the first player to score in his first four league games for the club.
The Portuguese winger, who joined the Spanish giants from Manchester United in a world record £80 million move this summer, scored his side’s opener in their 2-0 victory over Villarreal on Wednesday night.
In the second minute of the La Liga clash, Ronaldo galloped down the left wing, step inside two defenders and struck with a low shot from just outside the penalty area to score his fifth league goal in four matches.
"It was important to start (the season) winning games," Ronaldo said after the game. "I am really happy to win here and also to continue scoring goals.
"Villarreal are strong at home but we managed to get the three points."
