Barcelona maintained their perfect start to the defense of their La Liga title with a convincing 5-2 victory over Atlético Madrid at the Camp Nou.
Zlatan Ibrahimović put the Catalans ahead after just two minutes when he was put through by Sergio Busquets and flicked the ball past Atlético goalkeeper Roberto Jiménez.
Lionel Messi doubled the lead in the 16th minute before a Daniel Alves free-kick and a close-range Seydou Keita strike put Barcelona into a four-goal lead before half-time.
Sergio Agüero pulled one back for the visitors on the stroke of half-time and Diego Forlán added a second for Atlético six minutes from the end.
Barça wrapped up another impressive victory when Messi bagged his second of the night deep into injury time.
