Sir Bobby blamed Wise for Toon downfall

Sir Bobby Robson blamed Dennis Wise, not owner Mike Ashley for his beloved Newcastle United's demise, according to his long-time friend Bob Harris.
Harris – who co-authored four books with the former Toon and England boss – has revealed Sir Bobby's thoughts on Ashley and Wise in the months before his death from cancer.
The Sun reports that Sir Bobby told Harris: "I don't blame the chairman Mike Ashley.
"He had the club at heart, and wanted success as much as I did, but his great mistakes were in those he gathered around him.
"My biggest disappointment was Dennis Wise, a director of football who was hardly seen at the ground, and who brought in players who were neither suitable, nor right, for Newcastle United.
"I forgive most people, but I am not sure I can forgive Wise for what he did to my club."
