A Newcastle United fan has had a lasting tribute to the late Sir Bobby Robson tattooed on his thigh.
The legendary manager, who was in charge at St James' Park from 1999 to 2004, died last week after a long battle with cancer.
He told The Northern Echo: "I was gutted and absolutely devastated when I heard Sir Bobby had died.
"I was sitting in the bath that night and I thought about all the people that were going to St James' Park with scarves, flowers and tributes.
"Eventually they are all going to get cleared away and I thought Sir Bobby deserved something more permanent.
"So I phoned up my tattooist and I went in for a session on Sunday.
"The full portrait of Sir Bobby is on now and it looks absolutely mint.
"I've had quite a reaction from friends and family and people keep pulling my trousers down in the street to have a look - I'm going to get into trouble."
