New Paris St Germain coach Antoine Kombouaré has revealed that Inter Milan midfielder Patrick Vieira is keen to join the capital club.
Vieira, who turned 33 on Tuesday, appears to be surplus to requirements at the San Siro with some reports suggesting José Mourinho is ready to offload the France international this summer.
"I talked to him over the phone and he really wants to work with me," Kombouaré told RMC.
"He knows he has one season to re-launch his career to get back to the national team for the World Cup.
"Obviously, the main problem for us is his salary. He is ready to make a bit of a sacrifice but we don't know how much."
