Chelsea flop Andriy Shevchenko is adamant he wants to see out the remaining 12 months on his contract with the Blues.

The 32-year-old striker faces an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge after struggling to adapt to the English game following a switch from AC Milan three years ago.

Shevchenko, who spent last season on loan back at Milan, has one year left to run on his contract with Chelsea, and is prepared to see out that agreement.

He told Corriere dello Sport: "On 9th July I'll go to a summer training camp with Chelsea, then we will see what happens.

"I've spoken with the coach and we will hold a meeting when training starts.

"I have one year left on my contract with Chelsea and I intend to respect and honour it in the best possible way.

"If there was a concrete offer then I would evaluate it together with Chelsea.

"If it will not be possible to continue my career at Chelsea then I will look at other options."
