The Bianconeri had been chasing the Brazilian star for months as they look to strengthen for a title push.
And today Juve have confirmed that they have signed Diego for €24.5 million on a five-year deal.
"Juventus football club announces the agreement for the acquisition of the registration rights of the player Diego," the Turin giants said in a statement.
"The acquisition has been finalised. Juventus and the player have signed a five-year contract starting from July 1, 2009."
Juve will pay the fee in instalments with €14 million before July 1, 2009, another €5.5 million a year later, and a final €5 million on July 1, 2011.
