José Mourinho has signed a contract extension that will keep him at Inter Milan until June 2012.
The Portuguese tactician, whose original contract took him through to 2011, had been linked with a possible move to Real Madrid.
But Inter have now confirmed that the 'Special One' has agreed to stay for another three years.
A club statement said: "Inter would like to announce the extension of Mourinho's contract until June 30, 2012.
"This is in response to the coach's wish to continue the project we started together - a desire that has been welcomed by the club as a sign of dedication and a winning spirit."
Mourinho took the helm at Inter last summer following the departure of Roberto Mancini and guided the club to a fourth consecutive Scudetto.
