Sir Alex Ferguson has welcomed new Ipswich boss Roy Keane back to the managerial fold.
Keane, who made 323 appearances under Ferguson during his playing career, surprised many by taking the new position at Portman Road just four months after controversially leaving Sunderland.
And Manchester United manager Fergie is looking forward to seeing how Keane’s second managerial appointment pans out.
He said: "He made the point about wanting to get back into the game. It is always nice to see that.
"We will just have to see what happens now."
Ipswich are currently ninth in The Championship and Keane will start his tenure away to Cardiff on Saturday.
