Vincenzo Iaquinta scored two goals to help Juventus beat AS Roma 4-1 and move back to within four points of leaders Inter Milan.
Juve went ahead after 34 minutes when Sebastien Giovinco set up Iaquinta just inside the box for an angled right-foot drive into the far bottom corner.
Roma equalised three minutes after the break as the unmarked Simone Loria volleyed in a deflected Jérémy Menez corner kick past past Gianluigi Buffon.
But Iaquinta restored the lead with his second of the night on 55 minutes, nodding home a Zdeněk Grygera cross from five yards.
Seven minutes later Juve should have added a third, but they squandered the chance, despite having four men up against two Roma defenders. Alessandro Del Piero put Iaquinta through, but he could not get a shot in this time as the ball squirmed loose back to Del Piero, whose shot was saved on the line by John-Arne Riise.
Juventus extended their lead shortly afterward though. Swedish defender Olof Mellberg rose to meet Del Piero's corner with a looping header into the top corner.
Pavel Nedvěd completed the rout just four minutes after coming on to replace Tiago with a fine volley from 20 yards. It was clocked at 80km/h and Doni had no chance.
