Robinho praises Man City fans

Robinho has declared that fans in England and, in particular Manchester City supporters, are more "vibrant" than those in Spain, whom he compared to theatregoers.

The £32.5m British record signing ace feels fans in England can be compared to those in Brazil and is not impressed by the supporters in Spain.

He told his official website, www.robinhoofficial.com: "England, it is similar to Brazil.

"People go to the stadiums and shout the whole time, incentivising us and, if we do something special, they cheer us up.

"In Spain it is a bit different. There they go to the stadiums as if going to the theatre. They sit quietly waiting for a play to then decide if they liked it or not. If not they boo us.

"It is not like that in England. Here we may not play well, but as long as we are running they don't boo us, they applaud us.

"So it is the kind that I like, in general. Of course Manchester City's is special because it is my team.

"In general they are more vibrant supporters."
