Man United fan recreates Wembley in front room

A Manchester United fan was recreated his own Wembley Stadium in his front room because he failed to get tickets to see the team in the Carling Cup final.
Phil Spark from Didsbury, Manchester, has turfed his lounge with fake grass, installed two rows of stadium-style seats, fitted a turnstile into the room and borrowed a pie-heater from his local chippy.
The 25-year-old surveyor even papered the walls of his home with match crowd scenes and installed a Sky+HD box - with full surround sound - inside a mini set of goalposts.
"This is the next best thing to being there," he told Manchester Evening News.
"I was gutted when I couldn’t get a ticket for the game but I’ve spent the last few weeks making sure I won’t miss any of the action or atmosphere.
"With my 52inch plasma, Sky+HD and surround sound. I may even charge my mates to come round."
