David Beckham continued his impressive form as AC Milan narrowed the gap on leaders Inter Milan with a 3-0 victory at Lazio.
Beckham had been a doubt before the match with a leg muscle problem but started and provided goals for Alexandre Pato and Massimo Ambrosini either side of half-time.
The visitors took the lead after 42 minutes when Beckham cut inside on the right before playing a inch-perfect pass to Pato, whose right-footed strike towards the far post beat Fernando Muslera.
Milan had the ball in the net again just before half-time but Pato's header from another Beckham's cross was ruled out for offside.
Carlo Ancelotti's men picked up where they left off after the break and increased their lead three minutes into the second half when an unmarked Ambrosini headed in Beckham's free kick at the far post.
Kaká should have made it 3-0 in the 72nd minute but his right-footed effort inside the area rebounded off the near post.
The Brazilian made no mistake shortly after though, calmly finishing past Muslera from Clarence Seedorf's through ball.
Serie A leaders Inter Milan was made to work hard for a 1-1 draw at home to relegation-threatened Torino.
After a disappointing opening 45 minutes, Rolando Bianchi gave the visitors a surprise lead just one minute after the interval when he headed in Ignazio Abate's cross.
Nicolás Burdisso brought Inter level on 57 minutes as he capitalised on a collision between two Torino defenders to nod in the equaliser.
The Argentine defender came close to snatch a winner but Burdisso's header was saved low by Matteo Sereni.
In the dying minutes, Zlatan Ibrahimović almost scored a winner but hit the post with an angled header before the Torino defense scrambled the ball to safety.
