Juventus's title challenge was dealt a major blow as they were beaten 3-2 by Cagliari at the Stadio Olimpico.
The Bianconeri could find themselves nine points behind Serie A leaders Inter Milan and behind AC Milan if results go against them on Sunday.
In form Cagliari, which hasn't lost since returning from the winter break, took the lead with their first attack in the 16th minute when Davide Biondini headed in Michele Fini's cross at the far post.
But the home side stormed back to lead at half-time with goals from ex-Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Sissoko on 31 minutes and Czech veteran Pavel Nedvěd, seven minutes later.
Cagliari fought back in the second half and Jeda made it 2-2 nine minutes after the interval, finishing off an excellent break with a cool finish from Andrea Cossu's cross.
The winner came on 78 minutes when Andrea Lazzari squared the ball for substitute Alessandro Matri to pick his spot to the left of Gianluigi Buffon from just outside the penalty area.
On Saturday's earlier match, Udinese, who beat Juve in midweek, fought back to earn a 2-2 draw against Napoli.
