Marseille rule out Drogba return

Marseille have dismissed talk of a move for Didier Drogba as they cannot afford the Chelsea striker who they described as 'inaccessible' due to financial reasons.
The Ivorian striker won the French Player of the Year award in his last spell at Stade Vélodrome before securing a £24 million move to Chelsea in 2004.
It had been suggested in the French press on Tuesday that Marseille were considering an audacious bid to bring the 30-year-old back to the club.
However, the club's sporting director José Anigo believes that Drogba's excessive wage packet rules out any French outfit securing his signature.
He told French radio station RMC: "The problem with Didier is that even if he wanted to come to Marseille, there is a financial problem.
"For a French club, he represents €12 million per year. He is inaccessible to all French clubs."
