Kaká close on Man City deal?

Kaká has given the green light to join Manchester City after AC Milan have allowed the player to open talk over a possible move to Eastlands.
The Italian giants stated on Thursday that they are considering City's bid for Kaká - which was confirmed at £107 million.
There are suggestions that Milan may accept the move because of the recent form of French starlet Yoann Gourcuff, whose loan spell at Bordeaux expires in the summer.
"There is an offer from Manchester City and it must be assessed by Milan," a statement on the Milan Channel confirmed.
"We haven't made a decision and this is not a fait accompli. There are still hours or days ahead."
City officials are due to fly to Italy on Monday for meetings with Kaká and his father Bosco Leite.
Kaká's spokesman Diogo Kotscho admitted that although a deal was not close - the Rossoneri had given them the green light to open talks.
He told Associated Press: "Milan have authorised the negotiation with Manchester City.
"The next step now is that Kaká's father will eventually talk to Manchester City.
"It's an exaggeration what they are saying in England that it's almost a done deal and it's an exaggeration that Kaká has rejected the offer."
It now seems if Kaká agrees to the move, then City are indeed closing in on the most astonishing deal in football history.
