David Beckham indicated he is thinking of extending his stay with Serie A giants AC Milan.

The England international, who is on loan from LA Galaxy until March, made his competitive debut for the club in Sunday’s 2-2 draw with AS Roma. He played 89 minutes before being substituted by Mathieu Flamini.

Beckham has always stated he would honour his contract with Galaxy but this time he admitted he will review his position with Milan when his two-month loan agreement ends.

He said after the Roma match: "The contract and the agreement is that I go back to LA on March 8th or 9th. So I'm going to enjoy it up to then and we'll see."

Milan team-mate Kaká joined calls for the 33-year-old to stay.

The Brazilian star said: "David has showed he is a player that can run the extra mile.

"The match showed his abilities, his passing and the quailty he has.

"The first three months may lead to six months, maybe even a year or more.

"I would like to play with him a lot more."
